“My Dear” Rebecca Ladds, 2011.
[Returning to deer imagery apparently]

My Form and Structure teacher wanted me to make a video of my piece, but gifs are so much better.
“Crumble” Rebecca Ladds, 2011. Wood and brass hinges.
Section of Self Portrait for colour class. The colour comes later, for now I’m just messing around on microsoft paint. ;)

An anonymous asked me what my workspace looked like. Here it is in all its disorganized glory. I use my roomate’s old drawing table as a desk, which is good because it’s bigger than a normal desk. Couldnt live without the cutting board underneath everything, and the whole area is in this little niche inbetween two walls and my wardrobe so it’s like a super-mini studio! At least I like to think of it that way.
I’ve tacked up all my inspirations and works I don’t know where to put, as well as little reminders of things I need to get done.
Laptop for music, and good lighting is always important.
And yes that’s a nude of Freja Beha Erichsen as my background.
My boyfriend gave me this handmade ring that is a cast of a chameleon skull and you finger goes through the jaw. It’s so beautiful I had to make it into a drawing.
It’s over an orthographic drawing? Which mean I may or may not be making a giant version, out of wood, for class? Can’t tell you ;).
“Soft Anatomy [Study 2]” Watercolour and ink. Rebecca Ladds. 2011
This is a preview of what a watercoloured version of this could look like. When they go up for sale, there will be an option to have it watercoloured, this makes each print one of a kind, even though they are prints.
