Hello, I was wondering if you could possibly upload a video tutorial on how you make your prints. It would be very helpful to the many artists out there following you, including me. I know you must be busy but please keep this idea in mind. Thank you, and keep up the amazing work.
That certainly seems like a cool idea, although unfortunately that would be very difficult to do! :(
The actual printing of the images happens in a studio with a huge printing press and all of the inking is done right before they are pressed. I can do a photo tutorial of the prep work, but because I have limited access to the studio (not very many open studio hours) and it is always very busy when I can get in, there’s no chance of making a video of the printing process or inking techniques. I will keep it in mind though! I don’t want to leave your questions about it unanswered! Thank you love! I will try and think of a way around it!
Are you going to sell the Soft Anatomy cards (these: http://instillness.tumblr.com/post/3937404402/no-sleep-for-me-tonight-plenty-of-things-to) soon? I can't afford the print so I'm waiting to buy one of those! :)
Well those are the prints! They just look small because I was standing on a chair to take the photo from above. I was thinking of making a mini print to sell because I realize that the prints are a steep price for student. (They have to be that much for shipping/packaging/time spent on them). If anyone else is interested I’ll start scratching a smaller plate asap! Price would probably be cut by half or more.
i'm sorry if this is a silly question, what timezone are you in? i want to make sure i get a soft anatomy print so i want to make sure i'm on your shop as soon as it opens. :)
Awe! That makes me so happy. Pretty sure I’m GMT -5? (Time zones have always confused me, especially because we just had daylight savings time) Right now, here it is 10:30pm, and in the UK it is 2:30 am. Not even sure if that helps.
