OKAY! I’ve listed some things in my etsy finally. I apologize it took me so long! I did some spring cleaning and I have some prints from first and second year, some new drawings and digital prints, and I am in the process of adding more. One of those ‘Everything Must Go!’ type of things! I will also, because of high demand I will be re-listing the Soft Anatomy print as a digital print! Therefore they will be more affordable and more of you can have one!!! They are coming in the next couple days, you will be the first to know. Take a look HERE! Tell your family, tell your friends. <3

Hello!

Part of the reason I have been so busy lately (on top of thesis) was this collaborative project I have been working on with a colleague. The idea has been proposed for just under one year, and has been in production for the last 8 months. Together Kat Gomboc and I have created a site-specific installation at the Gladstone Hotel in one of their second floor hotel rooms. The installation is for an Illustration show called, “If Walls Could Talk” and other artists helped to transform the second floor spaces into art installations.
There’s a lot of really great things going on up there, come see the pieces Toronto folks!

'Ornament, Lament”
"Common ground between Florentine artwork and contemporary illustration manifests itself in this installation through the use of black ink on white walls. Gomboc and Ladds create bold graphic images with intricately detailed line-work as an ode to the interior aesthetic of Renaissance building while hinting at influences like intaglio, tattoo and cartoons. Subtly they place Toronto signifiers among this imagery, inviting the viewer to uncover them.
The installation parallels this juxtaposition, and harmonizes a classic aesthetic with their own contemporary practices.” The show was curated by Leila Courey.

Hi, I’m still alive!

Toronto folks!
I’ll be selling some prints at The Central tonight to raise much needed funds for an upcoming installation at The Gladstone Hotel in March.
Live music, good company and most importantly ART!

Any of these could be yours, ;).

Best way to document mirrored surfaces is a video I guess. I rubbed carbon dust into the etched lines instead of ink:dirty hands. #intaglio
